It’s nearly Wedding Season! Though they’re mostly about loving nuptials, families coming together, great food, and dancing, fashion choices are definitely a large part of the wedding conversation too. Here’s what some of the always-beautiful brides, handsome grooms and happy bridesmaids might be wearing this summer based on recent runway shows and fashion blog findings:

1) Off-The-Shoulder Necklines:

This style choice provides a whimsical, sensual flair to a white gown and it can hardly be better represented than in this dress by the Barcelona-based Pronovias designers, who have an assortment of gorgeous gowns here. Named “Bellamy,” this Mermaid dress in embroidered tulle with Chantilly lace appliqués features a bodice with wrap-around neckline at three-quarter-length and Chantilly lace sleeves.

2) Unexpected Colors

Of course white is the traditional color for brides, but in 2015 expect to see pinksky blue, or ivory, like in this dress from Alvina Valenta. A blush English net tiered, A-line bridal gown, it has a beaded and embroidered neckline with a natural waist bodice. Thin double spaghetti straps crisscross over a low open back as well.

3) Informal, Relaxed-Fit Bodices

Houghton is another designer offering a unique, dynamic bridal line, including gowns, dresses, and “rompers” like this two-piece outfit called “Selena.” Perfect for a beach wedding, this romper has a short-sleeve Guipure lace bodice of 100% cotton with a v-neck crossover, and an all-silk Dupioni pant.

4) The Grooms Go Grey

Blue was the trendy color of choice for grooms, but the experts say grey is the new black in 2015. This tuxedo from J. Crew is equal parts classic and contemporary. It’s a Ludlow fit with a modern cut and a trim silhouette, made from a Japanese chambray with Bemberg lining. The narrow lapel has a one-button closure and there’s pickstitching along the collar, lapel and pockets.

5) The Bridesmaids Will “Blush”

This bridesmaid dress by Monique Lhuillier has diaphanous tulles that wrap the strapless bodice and overlay the voluminous skirt to create an elegant midi-length dress with a demure feminine hue. The color choice here is “blush,” a popular one for 2015 bridesmaids where soft colors, including mint, melon and aquamarine, reign supreme.
